FMS 1100mm (43.3") PC-21 Pilatus PNP
US $209.99

The high cost anti-collision design of foam box.
FMS invest not only on the airplane design but also on the foam box. CNC molding for the box makes the airplane parts fit inside the box 100% exactly. Double cost is the difference comparing the normal molding. Two weeks designing on the 3D graph, which makes the final work detailed and quite strong. Before mass production, a series of crash tests against the four angles and six sides is needed.

Install in 15 mins with absolutely no glue.
Glue is unacceptable to most players. Here we offer you the most thoughtful airplane, which can be assembled with no glue - just a couple of screws. It takes only 10 mins or less to finish installing work for an experienced player, and about 15 mins for beginner.

99% scaled appearance.
With over one months research on the different resource, the engineers get the most specific and accurate drawing data and work on it. Our team focus on every detail, every skin line, every rivet position, every paint color. 5 blades propeller, retractable landing gear, flaps, scale pilot, all of the above give this airplane more distinction.
The latest foaming material
The airplanes in the market are always made with low-ratio & high-density foam particles due to the low cost, which cause the plane heavy and fly not well. PC-21 adopts the latest high-ratio & low-density EPO 52, which alleviates the airplane weight at around 15%, greatly optimizing the flying performance without weakening the airplane.

The environmental water-based paint
Oil paint is low cost paint which will cause some disadvantages like high corrosion (which deforms the airplane in hot summer), environmental damage, and harm to human health. Water-based paint is non-corroding, environmentally friendly, and safer to human health. This high cost paint could protect the fragile foam parts under any condition. To bring you a green and safe product, water-based paint is now used on this model.

A nicely-controlled PC-21
It is a mutual work of engineers all over the world. The model was unceasingly tested and corrected in the past months. You could operate stably without gyro and land confidently without flap. As long as you are familiar with the remote control, you could fly this model well.

This is the most unique model I have in my collection. It is prop driven, but it flies very much like a jet - not in its speed, but in its handling characteristics both on the ground and in the air. It is obvious why it is a trainer for aspiring jet pilots in real life. This plane is super stable in the air and can handle quite high winds. In spite of the smaller wing size, it will land quite slowly. It is a really cool plane. I often use it as a warmup to flying my EDFs (also mostly from FMS). This plane can also handle the ground quite well. Just be aware that the prop does come quite close to the ground, so pay attention if you are flying on very bumping ground or tall grass.
The one recommendation that I would make is that the power system be upgraded. One of the guys I fly with bumped the ESC up and put in the motor from the Nemesis into his and it hums along now. That is an upgrade that I may consider in the future.

What a great aircraft! Not what I would normally buy as I am a bit of a warbird guy but I thought 'What the hell? I'll give it a crack'

Arrived super quick (a matter of days!) from China.. Assembly was super quick and easy. This bird is way bigger than you think for an 1100mm wingspan and is quite impressive when assembled. CG was off so I had to add about 60 grams of lead to the nose to get the CG at 90-95mm with my 3300-4000mah battery on the the tray. I do hate adding lead to models but this bird can handle it no dramas. You can push the battery much further forward and not use the aft battery strap to get the right CG if you really want.

Maiden went well with just a few clicks of up trim needed. Tracked straight and handles great (more like an EDF). People talk about the PC-21 being slow but it is fast enough for me. Great power for vertical and can perform aerobatics with no issues. People change the props to a 4 blade to speed it up but I just love the sound of the 5 blade prop! Awesome! Saying that, the prop needs to be balanced before flight to get that good sound. Both the props I have were out of balance.

I have 5 flights on this plane now and I like it more and more every flight. Landing are smooth and scale with a bit of a down elevator mix needed for flap deployment. FMS are right about the aircraft not needed a gyro as she cuts through the wind nice and easy. I flew her today in 15 kts winds gusting 18 kts and I still managed to grease the landings.. I would never fly a non-gyro fitted warbird in these conditions but he 21 handled it with ease.

Awesome flyer. Nice and smooth
Easy Build
Foam light weight and quality
Bigger than expected and looks wicked
Handles a wide range of battery sizes.

CG - Needed to add weight to effectively use the battery tray

In summary, she is a pleasure to fly, looks awesome and can handle various weather conditions well. The PC-21 is my first FMS plane, but it will not be my last!
One of most great flyers I had the opportunity to fly. However very low powered for vertical flight and certain maneuvers. I recommend improve the power system to fly with 5S ou 6S Lipo batteries.
Very nice plane, easy to built, easy to fly, really qiet motor and enough power, the quality is good, lot of space into the fuselage, 7 chanel Rx is good to use like this the front wheel doesn't move during the flight, i use 3200 mAh, and fast shipping...

Can I buy just the right retract rather than both left & right as a pair. I only want 1 retract. Why do you do this when no one else does? If you don't change, Freewing will be happy to help us.

Will there be a sport version of the PC-21? E.g. with an Brushless 3648-KV770 engine.

Sorry, we don't have this plan so far but this is a good suggestion, we will consider it.
