Building on engineering innovations seen in this popular jet model, ROCHOBBY(by FMS) has launched a brand new 70mm EDF Super Viper onto the market!
In terms of appearance, the Super Viper has a scaled navy blue color scheme with bright yellow wingtips, which highly distinguishes it for long distance viewing. Indy Flyer
I absolutely love this aircraft. It is very impressive in the air and tracks so well I was asked what kind of gyro I was using and I happily said "none"! The first one I had suffered a motor and ESC failure on the second flight, but FMS customer support has been great and they sent me another plane right away. The new one has numerous flights on it now and is flying with no problems at all. I would definitely add the optional flaps if you need to make short field landings or steep approaches. They have lots of surface area and make a noticeable difference when landing.

Is it able to fly on grass field?
1 years and 7 months ago ago by Nick

Yes, the landing gears are strong enough for fights on grass field. Many of our customers purchased the Vipers and flied it on grass field.

Does the nose gear have a separate servo for steering?
2 years ago by Mike

The pic of the front retract in the parts section shows a steering link that comes with the part so since the rudder servo is on the dorsal fin , the front wheel most likely has its own servo.

Do the flaps require 2 positive servos or 1 positive and one reverse servo?
2 years ago by Mike

Check the underside photos - a pair of matching servos is the go. Both are aligned with output shaft to starboard, so can be Y-cabled and will work right. This is the usual design for flaps that need to travel the same direction, compared to aileron servos which are installed opposite to each other - so a Y-cable will then give OPPOSITE travel (one up, other down)
