FMS 800mm (31.5") T-28 Trojan V2-Red PNP
US $109.99

FMS 800mm T-28 V2 PNP (Plug and Play)

Designed to replace the aging T-6 Texan, the T-28 Trojan was a piston engine military trainer aircraft used by both the US Air Force and the US Navy. The Navy continued to use this as the primary trainer right up to the early 1980’s.

FMS has chosen the most recognizable Navy color scheme for this outstanding flying model. Incorporating many scale features such as nose gear steering, dummy 9 cylinder radial engine, scale three blade prop and spinner make for an interesting model These features plus the power provided by the efficient brushless motor, will look great on the deck as well as screaming down the flying strip of your club.

With the Plug and Play version you will need your own Radio System of choice, Battery and Charger to be able to fly this model.

This is a lot of plane for the money, especially when it is on sale! This little model doesn't disappoint. It has a plastic cowling, which I thought was a nice touch. It flies extremely well and is incredibly stable. I fly mine with a 3S 1000mah battery, which balances well at the CG and give you a little extra speed if you want it. I hand launch mine and I belly land land. I cut throttle a foot or so about the ground and just let it glide in for a landing.
I picked up both this plane and the 800mm F4U Corsair during this year's Black Friday Sale. My only regret is that I didn't buy, the 800mm BF109, Mustang and Zero at the same time. Our field is closing at the end of 2018, so I will only be able to fly smaller planes from now on due to municipal size restrictions for RC vehicles in city parks. These planes will be perfect under those restrictions, especially considering the high quality.
